Manisha Chiman is the Business Leader of Liability at SHA Risk Specialists, having worked in the insurance industry since 2011. She joined SHA as Manager of Commercial Liability Underwriting in 2016, and managed a team of skilled underwriters until her promotion to her current position. Manisha holds a Higher Certificate in short-term insurance through Milpark Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Anton Meyer is the Business Head of Claims (Financial Lines, Accident and Health and Motor) at SHA Risk Specialists. He is a seasoned insurance specialist having worked in the industry since 1994, and has spent the last 13 years at SHA. Anton holds a B.Proc Degree and has vast experience in various specialist lines, including Construction/ Plant All Risks, Electronic Equipment, Construction Guarantees, Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines.
Dave is the Business Head of Accident and Health, and Motor Underwriting at SHA and has 25 years experience in Accident & Health Insurance. He started off his career in the Retirement Fund industry and then moved to the Short Term Insurance industry to focus on Short Term Insurance Employee Benefits Structures and product development.
Makolo Kalambaie is currently the Business Head of Financials Lines, Structured Portfolio at SHA Risk specialist. He is a Financial Lines specialist with extensive experience, which includes 15 years as an insurer and 2 years as a broker. He has held several senior management roles with responsibilities to deliver on key strategies. He has also gained advisory skills pertaining to fit for purpose Financial Lines insurance products and solutions for large South African Corporate Clients. He is passionate about enabling and empowering people as well as investment opportunities on the African continent.
Makolo has a postgraduate BCom degree in insurance and risk management from the University of Witwatersrand and a Senior Management Development qualification from GIBS.
Malcolm started off his career dealing with personal injury claims at the Road Accident Fund and then practiced as an Attorney in a private practice focusing on insurance litigation. He then moved into the broking environment at a large multinational broker focusing on Professional Indemnity and medical malpractice insurance managing a large portfolio of professional clients. He later joined a large Insurance company responsible for the PI and medical malpractice book of business. In 2017 he joined SHA, as the Business Head of PI and Liability.

Koketso Shabalala has been in the Insurance Industry for almost 13 years, he joined AIG in 2009 after graduating with a B.comm from the University of Johannesburg. Koketso spent 3 years at AIG where he was in multiple roles from Customer Service consultant to Engineering Underwriter. In 2013 he moved to Allianz Global Corporate Specialty South Africa (AGCS SA) where he spent 5 years as an Engineering and Construction Underwriter. He moved to AON South Africa as a Senior Broker in the Engineering, Construction and Renewable Energy Department with a specific focus on Renewable Energy . Koketso now joins SHA as Underwriting Head: Construction and Single projects after spending 3 years at AON South Africa.

Sandra is the Team Manager for the Professional and Liability Claims Team. She started her career as a State Prosecutor. Sandra has over 33 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry in respect of both Commercial and Personal lines claims. She joined SHA in 2014.

Lee-Juan Meyer, better know in the industry as LJ, has been in the insurance industry for just over 20 years. He worked in Personal Lines and Commercial Lines and started his career in the Motor insurance industry on the 1 March 2010, where he has been ever since. He now head up the Motor Fleets underwriting team as the Underwriting Head.
