Personal Accident
Accidents happen and often employees will look to their employer to cover the costs of an incident at work (and also possibly outside of working hours). This specialist short term insurance product is managed by a very experienced team of underwriters who are able to customise benefit-programs to clients’ requirements determined either by a fixed sum or multiples of annual earnings following specific covered events.
Cover can be structured to operate during working hours only or on a 24 hour basis.
Outside of the traditional work environment our team is also skilled at providing tailored cover for professional sports men and women. A bespoke product is also available to cover incidents involving school children. Exclusions do vary by structure of individual policies but the ones you should really be made aware of are:
All Claims must be notified as soon as possible, but within 180 days from the date of the injury. Failure to do so may result in the Claim being declined for Late Notification.
Where supporting documents are not immediately available, please ensure that your fully completed Claim Form is submitted in order for the Claim to be registered within the notification period. Following this, supporting documents can be forwarded as they are received
